KL LED LAMPS: Installation

The assembly of the lamp is as simple as to disassemble the old incandescent lamp and to mount the new LED's one. Nothing special is required since the anchorage and assembly method are identical.

Like any PAR-56 lamp, it iis necessary to be careful with tightens of the screw terminals. They are very fragile in case of excessive tightens or blows.

Since LED lamp consumption is very low, they will not be necessary great section cables. Thanks to this particularitity, as much tighten as the load of the terminals is lower.

In new facilities must be avoided to use cable with sections between 6 to 16 mm2, normally used in 300W standard lamps. Cables between 1,5 to 2,5 mm2 must be used in LED lamps. This will suppose smaller installation and maintenance costs.

Working Conditions.

The lamp can work correctly in conditions of environmental temperature or water from -5 ºC to 40 ºC. A special precaution when feeding lamp LED with voltages superior to 12VCA in aerial conditions is necessary because the excess of voltage will be translated in an increase of the temperature in the electronic circuit with the consequent failure of the unit.

For aerial installations we recommend the exact transforming voltage of 12VCA.

For aquatic applications, the voltage can arrive up to 14VCA although it is also recommended to stay in the working voltage of 12VCA.

Transforming power must be the sum of the total power for the number of lamps installed plus a 20~50%.
